| Fårö Nationally owned and fully protected areas cover some 500 square kilometres and 1000 islands. In addition there are privately owned areas and areas used by the defence forces with some limitations as to access and protection. This is the situation also on Nötö. |
Jurmo You can rent a boat at Backaro for excursions to nearby islands. A few kilometres away are, for instance, the beautiful beaches of Fårö. With the island ferry Aspö you can travel onwards to Aspö, Jurmo and Utö. More about the national park |
