Day 1. Individual arrival to Turku
Turku is easly accessable from Helsinki with bus, train or by air and from Stockholm by cruising ship or by air. Accommodation at ***hotel in city centre. In the evening and morning you have the possibiliti to explore Turku, the oldest city in Finland.
You are welcome to store possible extra luggage at the hotel during your tour.
Day 2. Turku – Naantali, 20 km
After a possible visit to the market place you will start your cycling at midday towards Naantali, with an optional detour to Hirvensalo island. Naantali is a charming and lively seaside town with several very nice restaurants and cafées. The presidential summer residence with a public garden (subject to opening hours) is also located in the vicinty of Naantali. Accommodation is in a modern holiday resort outside the city centre of Naantali, or at your choice on a traditonal farm in the country side.
Day 3. Naantali – Kustavi, 50 km
The second day of cycling will take you via Velkua to Kustavi. The first part covers some rolling hills but there is no hurry to the first ferry for the day. The route will take you over some bridges with magnificent views. Your accommodation is by the sea in a small, but cosy modern cottage with in-suite toilett. Showers are in the separate sauna building.
Day 4. Kustavi – Houtskär, 28 km
Shortly after departing in the morning you will take the ferry to the remote island of Iniö. Enjoy the nature trail which offers scenic views over the island and take a short stop in the local village. A one hour ferry ride with m/s Antonia will take you further to the island of Houtskär. A short detour will take you to the village with a museum with traditional boats and the charming wooden church. Continue along the winding roads to Hyppeis, by the sea side for your next stop. You are welcome to enjoy a Finnish sauna and a dip in the sea.
Day 5. Houtskär – Nagu, 45 km
After breakfast continue cycling and with ferry to island of Korpo. After possible detour to Korpo village continue to the ferry connecting to the island of Nagu. We recommend a stop at the main village in Nagu which with its lively marina serves as a centre for the whole archipelago region. For accomodation and dinner we welcome you to B&B Västergård.
Day 6. Nagu - Turku, 50 km
In the morning you will continue back to the main land with one more ferry. Half way you will pass the small seaside town of Pargas. In the evening you will complete your Archipelago tourin and arrive at your hotel in the heart of Turku.
Day 7. After breakfast individual departure from Turku.

The price includs accommodation in shared double room with breakfast (6), sauna on day 3 and 4, dinner in Nagu, touring bike with helmet and panniers, storage of excess luggage, required ferry tickets and Route Guide including map.
Luggage transport is available on tours starting on Sundays, but not on June 3 and 24, July 15 and August 19. For groups on request.
This tour is available for start daily during the summer season, from June 1st to August 23th.
